At Made on YouTube on Sept. 23, YouTube said creators can now use YouTube Studio to A/B test up to three different cuts of a video to see which holds attention best, alongside thumbnail generation in a channel’s style and a conversational editing tool for Shorts and the YouTube Create app.

Shorts can now be organized into seasons and episodes. YouTube also highlighted Creator Partnerships for brand deals, an Ask Studio feature coming to help with brand briefs, and an affiliate program expanding to 35 countries by the end of the year.

Your checklist

  • Re-cut one existing client video into two alternate openings and test them.
  • Package short tips as a numbered Shorts series.
